Filament Canopy was composed for the Sticks & Strings Duo, comprised of Rosanna Moore (harp) and Trevor Bartlett (percussion). Interlace plays with repeating notes across different timbres and patterns twisting around each other, gradually forming into a theme. Bolt is rapid and rhythmic, throwing the theme from first movement into virtuosic figurations, along with new motives, until it shatters itself. Vestiges begins with void, slowly coalescing into a lilting melody, before fading away.
